Fresnillo

Overview
The mine is located at the local municipality of Fresnillo, 60 kilometres northwest of Zacatecas City in the state of Zacatecas, which has a long tradition of Silver mining. Fresnillo City is an established town of 213,000 (2010 census) with solid infrastructure and decent basic services.

Focus of year 2011
In February, the "Trio Buenos Aires" park was opened to the public with high quality facilities including a child football yard, play equipment and green areas. The facility is located close to the Esparza, Minera and La Paz neighbourhoods, which lacked before of recreational facilities, leading to the decision of using the existent infrustructure as a leisure area.
