Location:
Located southwest of the town of Hidalgo del Parral on the boundary between the states of Chihuahua and Durango.
Products:
Silver and gold advanced project in exploration.
Milestones:
A scoping study to be prepared in 1H 2010.

In 2009 drilling on the San Julian, Refugio and the newly discovered Ruth vein identified interesting gold and silver values.  The exploration ramp at the JM silver-lead-zinc deposit was extended to 650 metres and intersected the San Atanasio vein. A second ramp was initiated. Additional surface ground was purchased in the ramp area and 32,300 hectares of additional claims were staked in the San Julian region, where the Fresnillo Group now controls 153,900 hectares.

Total resources contain 135.5 million ounces of silver (+33%) and 375,000 ounces of gold. Almost 40% of silver resources are indicated.

Exploration potential remains open in both the quartz veins and the JM body, and along 13km of veins that remain untested at depth. 116 hectares of surface land were purchased in the project area.
